His impeccable ear for music and a keen eye on the underground house scene from around the world, has brought his 2 year running show, “The Loop,” one definitely to take note of.

His passion and love for the scene is shown through his ability to keep people in the ‘Loop’ week to week, themeing his shows based upon his extensive music collection. Each of his sessions are dedicated to a specific branch of the electronic underground movement; covering Chicago House, Down-tempo, Techno, Deep House, and basically anything that is currently relevant in the electronic scene.

Unraveling ‘The Loops’ playlists from the start of his DJ term all the way until the present, gives me a lengthy log of golden house / club / electronic bangers that have come right from the producers and labels themselves, making every segment of ‘The Loop’ a space for the most pumping and party-starting electronic music you’ll ever hear. It’s a segment on air at KZSU on Mondays from 9am – 12pm PST, where you’ll hear something you’ve never heard before. This is what makes the ‘The Loop’ extraordinary.

Not only does DJ DD always start his show on time time, he often substitutes for his fellow DJs and co-DJs their shows, often times even pulling all-nighters. He is a music spinning madman, that shows so much love for his craft and station, which gives listeners the impression that he would never allow Stanford University to be dead air. He has been known to cover for the Big Love show and The Electronik Groove; a show that gave him his start.

On top of that, his passion and enthusiasm to mix on air can be heard at its full capacity whenever there’s a special holiday or a day off. DJ Deep has always got the best set of grooves to get you on track and ready for a new day. Take his Valentines Day special mix for example, as well as his 12 hr specials featuring fellow KZSU DJs and guests.
He truly is a gatekeeper for the sound he is pushing on 90.1 FM in the San Jose/ San Francisco Bay area.
“This show is not just for the “regular dj”…this show is for the regular techno head, house head…the people dancing till the sun comes up. This is for all of you.
